So my experimental brain is at it again and this time we have a 3 ingredient mock tail recipe that is healthy and most importantly, delicious.
It’s really awesome how much you can do when you don’t have much to do anything with. They rightly say, necessity is the mother of all inventions!
So here’s the scenario – you are at home and want to snack but don’t want to go astray on your diet plan, what options are you left with to fill your stomach? The brain will definitely tell you to go for the oily stuff because that is more delicious but here’s the catch – it’s not. There are many more yummy things in your refrigerator right now, that not only will not increase your weight but also will transport your taste buds to a whole new universe. Sharing a few of my experiments with you..
Mango and Pineapple mock tail : Take equal proportion of mango juice and equal proportion of pineapple juice, preferably half of a glass of each. Add a few drops of half a lemon juice into this mixture (not too much because the lemon juice can override the whole taste) and add just a pinch of salt. Mix well and serve chilled.
Tip: Since mango and pineapple tend to be seasonal in nature, I picked up Canned fruit juices for both the flavors. Yes, canned juice can have preservatives and all that but make sure you chose a good brand that doesn’t use too much of sugars and preservatives.
